Dolomites, Italy – Part 1

I went to Italy in early October to hike in the Dolomites. I am way behind on posts, so here are some pictures to tell some of the story.

To set it up, my friend Blee came with me and we flew into Venice before heading north to Brixen/Bressanone. Alta Via 2, which goes about 100 miles through the Dolomites, begins there.

We took the cable car up to the top of the hill once we got about half way. Good thing, it was a heck of a hill! Best $7 ever spent. Looking back at Brixen below.
