My convention to date has been one of each high point post starting with the word “peak”. Thus far, this has held up reasonably well. That is no longer the case.
Ebright Azimuth is the highest point in Delaware, at 448 feet above sea level. That ranks second only to the lowly Florida (pun intended). It is, nevertheless, a treacherous “hike” The “trail” takes you over 25 feet of flat-as-a-pancake asphalt before dropping you at a beautiful vista where you can see a neighborhood, a field, and a sign.
I flew into BWI in Baltimore around 7pm and made the drive. This was my first time in Delaware. The tolls coming from Baltimore were insane. Round trip I spent ~$20 on tolls alone.
I visited the high point in the dark. Other than showing you a picture, I have nothing more to say than “‘peak’ 17 in the bag!”.
